In the last 12 months, we have seen a huge spike in Public Sector organisations searching for Software Engineers. From insight provided by hiring managers, this is mainly down to organisations looking to bring Engineering teams inhouse rather than using consultancies. The spike in permanent positions is also down to organisations replacing costly contractors that the sector has heavily relied on.
