Are you a Senior Data Engineer looking for the opportunity to step into a broader leadership role whilst remaining hands-on technically?
I'm working with a London based charity, investing in its data capability and is looking for someone to help shape the future of its Microsoft data platform. Reporting directly to the CTO, you'll play a key role in leading the development of the organisation's data engineering capability. Working across data pipelines, integrations, reporting and architecture, you'll help ensure data is reliable, scalable and supports teams across fundraising, campaigning and operational functions.
The organisation offers a genuinely flexible, remote-first environment, a 4-day working week, modern Microsoft technologies including Fabric, and a culture that embraces AI and automation. Senior Data Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of the organisation's Microsoft data platform, including data pipelines, integrations and reporting.
- Work closely with the CTO to shape data architecture, technical standards and future technology decisions.
- Mentor technical colleagues and provide technical guidance across projects, promoting engineering best practice.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to translate business requirements into scalable, sustainable data solutions.
