Oracle Database Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Oracle Database Administrator to join an insurance company based in London with a hybrid working policy of 2 days per week in office. This organisation is a well established P&I Insurance company with offices worldwide and an strong Data function looking to expand due to some exciting upcoming projects. As the Oracle Database Administrator you will need to have expertise in Oracle 19 or later, Oracle Cloud, SQL, Data Warehouses etc.

The Oracle Database Administrator will have a vast amount of experience in a similar role covering day-to-day database administration including disaster recovery and project work. It is vital to have strong stakeholder management skills as you work closely with other teams within the business and senior leaders. This is an exciting time to join this organisation as they go through their digital transformation and the introduction of the DORA tech regulations.

Skills required for the Oracle Database Administrator are:
- Broad scope of Database experience
- Experience & knowledge of Oracle 19, Oracle Cloud, SQL Server & Powershell
- Experience within the Financial/Insurance sectors or with the DORA regulation would be advantageous
- Good communication skills, written and verbal to interact with key stakeholders

DBA / Oracle / Oracle DBA /

Location: London, Hybrid 2x per week in office
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
